What is Relay Test:
This test is used to determine the relay’s operating characteristics for any abnormal condition of electrical supply system.
Objectives:
This test reveals any catastrophic failures which would have prevented the relay from performing when called upon to operate.
Negligence of Testing:
A relay may only need to operate for 0.15 seconds in its 30+ year life. Failure to operate as intended can result in extensive damage, extended power outages, and loss of life.
